Mandeville is where we started. From Old Mandeville cottages off the Tammany Trace to lakefront homes along Lakeshore Drive, we've refinished every kind of door this town has. We know how Louisiana sun, lake humidity, and summer storms beat down on a finish, and we know what it takes to keep a door looking right year after year.

From Columbia Street to Tchefuncta Estates
Covington's a study in contrasts. Downtown historic homes off Columbia Street sit under heavy oak canopy. High-end properties in Tchefuncta Estates and River Forest face all-day sun with no shade. The same finish doesn't work for both, and we treat every Covington door according to where it lives.

Slidell
Gulf-adjacent climate hits doors differently
Slidell's doors see a different kind of weather than the rest of the Northshore. Salt-tinged wind from Lake Pontchartrain and the Gulf, higher hurricane exposure, and homes on the water in Eden Isles and Oak Harbor. Finishes that work in Mandeville don't always hold up here. We refinish with coastal exposure in mind.

Where is Churchkey based?
Mandeville, Louisiana. We've been refinishing doors out of Mandeville since 2003. Every project is dispatched from here and done by the owner. No lead-gen platforms, no subcontractors.
Which cities do you cover as part of regular service?
Our core service area is St. Tammany Parish. Mandeville, Covington, and Slidell are our flagship coverage, and we also regularly work Madisonville, Abita Springs, Folsom, and Pearl River.
Do you travel outside St. Tammany Parish?
For larger projects and historic restorations, yes. We occasionally take work across Southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast by special request. Single-door projects outside St. Tammany are usually not a fit.
