Restore. Protect. Impress.

Prevention is always better than replacement. Our annual maintenance program keeps your doors looking beautiful while preventing the costly damage that leads to full refinishing cycles. Regular on-site maintenance can extend your door's life by decades.

Louisiana Climate Prevention Strategy

Louisiana's extreme humidity, UV exposure, and seasonal weather changes create ongoing challenges for wood doors. Annual maintenance addresses these issues before they become major problems, saving thousands in premature refinishing costs.

Our comprehensive on-site inspection identifies early signs of finish failure, moisture intrusion, hardware issues, and structural concerns. We address minor issues immediately and provide detailed reports on your door's condition.

Complete On-Site Maintenance Service

Our annual maintenance includes complete door and frame inspection, hardware lubrication and adjustment, weather stripping evaluation and replacement, minor touch-up work for scratches or dings, and professional cleaning with appropriate wood care products.

We also provide seasonal recommendations specific to Louisiana's climate challenges, helping you protect your investment year-round. Many of our maintenance clients haven't needed major refinishing work in over a decade thanks to consistent preventive care.

Available throughout Mandeville, Covington, Slidell, and all St. Tammany Parish communities.

Pricing Guidance

  • Annual maintenance coats: typical range $300–$600 per door
  • Multiple doors: bulk pricing available for 3+ doors
  • Hurricane season prep may include additional protective measures
  • *Prices are typical ballpark ranges. Every job is different and final pricing will vary based on degree of damage, required supplies, service area, and other project-specific factors.

Our Proven Process

Step 1: Inspection & Deep Cleaning

We thoroughly inspect the door's finish for weak spots and then deep clean the surface to remove dirt, pollen, and surface contaminants.

Step 2: Light Sanding (Scuffing)

The existing varnish is lightly scuffed with fine-grit sandpaper. This creates a mechanical bond for the new coats to adhere to, ensuring longevity.

Step 3: Mold & Mildew Treatment

If necessary, we treat any early signs of mold or mildew growth, stopping it in its tracks before it can penetrate and stain the wood.

Step 4: Application of Fresh Varnish

We apply one or two fresh coats of marine-grade spar varnish to replenish the UV protection and restore the door's beautiful, protective sheen.
